Zoned live/work, some came from the builder with complete basement apartments. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() The King Towns by Urbancorp (who has built pretty much every single stacked townhouse in the King West & Liberty Village area). Stretching along both sides of Laidlaw Street, most are stacked though some are the entire townhouse. There are smaller ones, but most are multi-level around 1,000 square feet. They have 2 or 3 bedrooms, most have a rooftop deck with a great view of the city. Many are upgraded with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. They have 2 or 3 washrooms and most have a gas fireplace. Parking is underground and there is a lot of street parking for visitors. ![]() Another condo project from 1986, these condo townhouses are rarely for sale (as of the end of 2009 none had sold since 2001). I find that strange, but MLS does not lie. Most have 2 washrooms, though some have 3. Terraces are common in the larger units. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() The beautiful Electra Townhomes are in the Liberty Village part of King West, near downtown Toronto. I believe these are the first of the King West townhouses (I remember my wife and I going to the sales centre in 1998 when the area was just gravel and old factories). Because of their age, their are generally larger than the recently built ones. Many of the units in this small condo townhouse complex have extensive upgrades and great layouts. As one of the earlier Toronto townhomes in the Trendy King West area, Electra is built very well. It is close to Dominion as well as all the other amenities of the new Liberty Village. Many units include underground parking and spacious balconies or terrace overlooking the manicured properties of each home. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() These luxurious executive townhomes are located at 180 Merton Street. Very low monthly maintenance fees, rarely offered for sale. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() Best kept secret in The Beach – exceptional value situated on the west side of The Beach. Feels like a house and set 75 meters from the nearest street. In a park-like setting, these townhouses back on to a ravine and front on to treed and floral courtyard. A model of urban living in a natural setting. The townhomes of Edgewood Avenue offer 3 levels of living space with picture windows looking over the ravine from the living room. Large master bedrooms have ensuites and walk-in closets. There are entrances from the units to private underground parking. Short stroll to the trendy shops, bistros, and restaurants on Queen and the famous boardwalk. Great schools nearby. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() Set in a tranquil courtyard setting near the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, each of the 17 townhomes at 151 Merton Street boasts three-four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Near the subway, shops, restaurants, and the Beltline Trail, they’re great value for its size and location. The security of underground parking is available. Each unit also includes a private patio for outdoor entertaining. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() Nestled in a complex wedged between the train tracks and King Street West, these are the towns just behind the Massey Harris Lofts. Another of the first stacked condo townhome complexes in the area. A slightly larger group than the Electra Lofts just west of here, there are fewer than either the Liberty Village Towns or the Sudbury Street Townhomes. As with the Electra Towns, these are larger and older units, with a bit more breathing room. Smaller units on the lower level with multi-level units above. They have balconies and rooftop terraces, along with underground parking. Some have hardwood floors, others have carpet. Some have original white kitchens and others have been upgraded with stainless steel appliances and other goodies. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() A small condo townhouse complex near Queen and Coxwell, you are just outside of the hectic Beaches neighbourhood. Not your standard stacked towns, these are the full house, making them a great opportunity for first time buyers to own in The Beaches. Some have two bedrooms, some have three, most with only one washroom though. Each has parking, plus a nice little backyard. The condo fees are high for a townhouse, though not too bad by condo standards – and they include everything. Skylights highlight the third-floor master retreats. Some have been updated with all the latest goodies, while others may need a little love. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() The townhomes of 3 Everson and 5 Everson Drive are of the modern stacked townhouse style. Situated in the Yonge and Sheppard area of North York, the Everson townhouses are a great alternative to the high rise condominiums within the area. Although you don’t get the numerous amenities offered in the high-rises you do get huge roof top patios, front yard terraces with BBQs and multi-level layouts. These townhouses are a short walk to the Yonge and Sheppard subway station and extremely close to the 401. Movie theaters, shops, restaurants, parks, and trendy Yonge & Sheppard are all within close proximity. The Everson Terrace condo townhouses have many layouts that really appeal to people. You can choose from flat layouts to multi-level 2-storey townhouses with 250 square foot roof top patios. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() Something completely different from the rest of the King West stacked townhouses. These have been around since 1990, built by Copperfield Developments before Liberty Village and King West were anything close to what they are now. They are still stacked, but they are much larger, with many units close to 1,300 square feet. Originally promoted as executive townhouses, something bigger and more home-like for professionals that would be close to work downtown. Now, much more popular with a younger demographic, I think these provide better value than most of the others to the south. And there is something to be said for the mature trees on the older street. And farther from the trains! Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() These 3-level townhouses are located in a small Beach complex with Lake views and backing into a natural ravine. Nestled in the trees, these one-of-a-kind homes are across from a park and the boardwalk. Very bright with 2 level atrium. Featuring fabulous third floor master retreats with ensuite bath and walk out. Many have large terraces and decks. Imagine a cottage environment in the city. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() Bedford Park has a good mix of detached and homes and semis. The original housing stock was built between 1890 and 1940. However, many of the bungalows in the neighbourhood have been torn down and replaced with custom designed houses. The award winning Bedford Glen development on Sylvan Valley Way is a pretty collection of low-rise terraced condominium apartments and townhouses in a private ravine setting. These condos range in size up to three bedrooms, some on two levels. Balconies, hardwood floors, ceilings up to 15 feet, fireplaces, huge picture windows, stainless appliances, granite counters and more. Tree top views and 5-star amenities are to be expected. Walk down Yonge Street to the TTC, Pusateri’s and other trendy shops. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() Across the street from the older townhomes that are part of The Summit complex, these were completed in 2006 by Jack Eliav (with Brad Lamb, The Walsh Group and Core Architects Inc.). With only 10 units, this is a much smaller complex than most. These are not stacked towns per se, but split down the middle with five units on the west side and another five facing east. Each has their own private garage, plus a large terrace above. These Victorian-inspired townhomes are in the heart of the King West village, on a quiet residential street just south of King. They are over 2,000 square feet and have 10-foot ceilings on the main and lower levels, with 9-foot ceilings on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Hardwood floors are on the main level, a walkout to the terrace from the living room and a private roof-top terrace and stainless steel appliances. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() Yet another Beaches townhouse completed in 1986 (what a year for townhomes in the Beach!), this one also has prime location south of Queen. They tend to be rather groovilicious, with sunken living rooms and brick wood-burning fireplaces. There are units with 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms, some with 2 washrooms and others with 3. Balconies or terraces are the norm. Almost all have parking. The complex has been well-kept, with roofs and exterior paint in 2007. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |
![]() The Broadway Lanes Townhomes are located in a trendy upscale neighbourhood near Eglinton and Mt. Pleasant. Broadway Lanes is a one of a kind complex right in the heart of Toronto. These executive Georgian townhomes have a lovely English mews style setting with beautiful well maintained gardens and a fabulous landscaped court yard. It is a quiet complex of only 26 units, with underground parking for residents and visitors. There are 2 and 3 storey townhomes ranging from approximately 1,500 to 2,000 square feet. All units have central air conditioning and fireplace, as well as a private backyard with deck. Contact us today if this condo interests you. ———- |

I am a single female 30, looking for my first home close to work at CBC on front st.
I saw a listing at 27 Canniff st #513 for 389K which is within my budget of 400K.
However, an agent I talked to about this property said that being about 18 year old TH, there are issues with lead plumbing and these will need replacing to comply with city requirement at my own cost. Do I need to do building inspection for TH condos and in these particular TH, are you aware of any negatives.
I would be very grateful for your honest opinion. Thank you.
