Toronto Condos and Lofts – Something Truly Unique In The Toronto Loft Market

Metrosphere’s SuperSpace will offer large storage space, be it for residential or business purposes

New Dream Homes and Condos

Metrosphere Development Corp. of Markham ON today introduced SuperSpace – the first commercial, industrial and warehouse loft complex.

This architecturally-designed, gated community consists of 84 two-storey loft units housed in a complex of four buildings with ample parking. Units offer owners space for work, storage, hobby, retail or small business use, as well as the opportunity for building equity through appreciation and amortization.

SuperSpace is located at 88 Sunrise Ave. in Toronto, just south of Eglinton Ave. E., between Bermondsey Road and O’Connor Drive. This location is just a few minutes from the Don Valley Parkway and a quick drive to downtown. Owners can easily access public transportation and numerous established local amenities including restaurants, parks, recreation, and shopping at Eglinton Town Centre.

Priced from $149,900, these 750-square-foot lofts have been designed to meet the needs of most types of smaller space use. Benefits include low, fixed monthly payments with no rent increases, plus individual control of the space and its interior design.

“This flexible, affordable concept represents a first in Canada,” says Metrosphere partner Eli Klein.

This utilitarian and attractive design is inspired by the garage, which has traditionally served a multitude of purposes from workshop to office and storage space.

Owners can store personal items including classic cars and motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats, RVs, ATVs, furniture, artwork, antiques or anything that exceeds the space limitations of their homes.

For businesses, SuperSpace can serve as office space; commercial inventory storage; light industrial warehousing; files and records storage; music, art and photography studios; contracting and landscaping equipment; tools and equipment storage; surplus commercial furniture and office equipment storage, or permanent or interim operations work areas.

The full-height, two-storey units each have a gross floor base area of 750 square feet, with approximately 500 square feet on the first level, and approximately 250 on the second. With 18 feet of clearance to the underside of the steel joists and a nine-foot clearance under the mezzanine, the units will handle a variety of items, from big to small, short to tall.

Sturdy, five-inch reinforced smooth concrete slab-on-grade construction includes concrete block between the units for strength and privacy. A 10′ by 10′ sectional garage door and oversized double-glazed insulated windows offer easy access and plenty of natural light. Up-to-date wiring, a rough-in for a two-piece bathroom, thermostat control suspended gas fired heater, plus the ability to customize the spaces in a number of ways add appeal.

Metrosphere Development Corp. is a well-respected developer having completed numerous successful residential and commercial/industrial projects across the GTA, including Trinity Park Lofts and the Residences of Designers Walk.
