Lindvest Properties’ B.streets Condos is currently under construction near the corner of Bloor & Bathurst in The Annex. This area of the city is relatively low-rise compared to much of Toronto’s centre, as older two and three-storey buildings still predominate throughout. The Bloor-Bathurst intersection is now getting a small injection of height diversity though, with B.streets having topped off at nine storeys tall earlier this year.

Nine storeys isn’t a skycraper compared to most Toronto development these days, and yet with the surrounding low-rise neighbourhood, the two-storey penthouses here at B.streets still manage to provide great panoramic views of the surrounding city. From neo-gothic Central Technical School in the forefront, to the modern CN Tower and Financial District skyline in the background, the sweeping views from the penthouses are a great feature for those looking for something special in the vibrant neighborhood.

The B.streets development, designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects, aims to be as unique as the surrounding neighborhood. Slate gray bricks accent the bottom levels, creating a textured sophistication to the structure, especially through the staggered step-backs, above which the cladding switches to a light pre-cast for the upper levels. Interiors of the condominium are designed by Cecconi Simone to reflect the hip neighborhood and to accentuate the modern architecture of the building.

Two-storey penthouse lofts from 1,107 square feet and up start at $662,900, while some remaining one bedroom and two bedroom units are still available on the lower levels.
